Temporary, until the design of the project that will remodel the building of Associação Académica de Coimbra, and without any tree felling or demolition involved, the bar mingles with the garden, allowing an improvement on the space, so far quite forsaken.
The drawing is set in regular geometric shape and it uses discreet materials in all architectonic surfaces: wood and glass, metallic structures and light partitions.
A rotation on the implantation of the previous building defines its individuality and its character and allows the setting between the existing trees.
In order to guarantee the good use of the garden and the regular functioning of the pre-existing building, the proposed structure steps away from it by placing an entrance trough the area of the pergola. And under the pergola, metallic containers were drawn to cover the beer tanks installed.
This equipment by all means intends to be reversible in the garden space of the beautiful building conceived by Alberto Pessoa, classified as of public interest in 2008.
